I am again so sorry it took so long to write you all. But I did have a great time in Wales. It is a very beautiful place with loads of sheep (and the accompanying droppings) The cottage turned out to be an amazingly huge manor house and we all had a lot of fun playing YES Hide and seek in the dark. It was quite scary when I was the seeker though. One of our friends Lee created a big quiz for us to play on the first evening and although my team lost it was a total blast. We were situated right by the sea and the weather cooperated for once!!
Well now I am back in the land of Sedgley and back to teaching at Time Steps. My baby ballerinas are progressing rapidly and never cease to amaze me! I will be the MC for the upcoming dance competition that the studio is running here. These are quite different from the back home versions and everyone goes away with some kind of prize. You should get a load of some of the costumes for the Disco dancing (too much glitter can that be??) Anyways it should be good fun.
I have been asked to perform and excerpt from “3” for an International women's week celebration and to teach a workshop which I am looking forward to. And FINALLY I have booked a full performance of “3” for March 21st at the NewHampton Arts Center. I will also be instructing a couple of workshops for the local dance college and Univ. as well through the center. As for the work visa permit to extend my visit..... We just found out that it is missing yes missing so I am not going to hold my breath. I may be back at the end of March instead of June as previously planned.
As for what comes next I am not sure yet. After the rural tour of schools in Saskatchewan which ends just before December I have no plans so if anyone hears of anything that may be up my alley let me know!!!
Well that is all for now! I wish you all a happy valentines day and hope to hear from you soon.
