Dis Dances Winter Quest March 18

Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm

Free Flow Dance Theatre in partnership with Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan presents a unique nighttime journey through movement designed specifically for the new space on river landing. Follow twin sister goddesses Eos (Dawn) and Selene (moonlight) as they move through the outdoor performance space seeking meaningful connections and encountering others along the way.

You are invited to attend a very special in-person, live performance by the Free Flow Dance company. This outside, site-specific dance event takes place in the newly renovated Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan site. Yes, you heard it right this is an outdoor event in March! Audience members should dress warmly in layers and bring a blanket if desired. The performance will run approximately 30 minutes in length.

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan recently made their site a permanent festival venue open year round for public access – 948 Spadina Cres East.  They have an amazing LED lighting installation that has been active all winter long, adding some much needed colour and sparkle to this dark pandemic winter.  Go for a walk and check it out and follow them on Instagram to see the great photos people have been sharing #wintercitysnowglow.  Lighting designs are by J.J. Neufeld, see the full schedule here:  https://www.shakespearesask.com/productions/details/winter_lighting_designs.html
