The Space That Shapes Us
April 27 2-4 PM Free Flow Dance Centre 224 25th St. W. Saskatoon
The workshop explores the creative body within space, the shapes and tensions in the space, which also include the relation to other bodies around. The design of the course goes from simple ideas to complex concepts of movement. The beginning focuses on individual developments moving towards group exercises. This course aims to build a progressive structure.

Olga Barrios Choreographer, teacher and dancer has collaborated with theater, musical and dance companies in Canada, USA and Colombia. She was born in Bogota- Colombia where she studied the Scenic Arts Program in dance at the Arts Academy of Bogota, and holds an MFA in dance at York University of Toronto. She is co-founder member of Vanguardia Dance Projects(Canada). As a dance teacher she has worked in Montreal, Hamilton, Toronto, Kitchener, San Francisco, New Jersey and diverse cities in Colombia. Currently, Olga is an associate professor at the universities Atlantico and Magdalena in Colombia, and work is exchange projects between Canada and Colombia.More info at: www.olgabarrios.com
