Emma “So” Whitla is a multi-disciplinary artist who ventures to create meaning, joy, and levity in her art. A singer her whole life, her more recent love is dance. She is most attracted to the real-time intersection and collaboration of artists, even virtually, and especially in community. After studying at RHSA, she went on tour with vocal group Northern Harmony for three months, and then trained with dance company Danza Espiral in Matanzas, Cuba for five months. She studies dance and Spanish at York and loves to bike ridiculous distances.
