SaskTel is the leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) provider in Saskatchewan, with over $1.3 billion in annual revenue and approximately 1.4 million customer connections. As part of our commitment to supporting the province, we volunteer, give time and money to great causes and partner with caring and visionary Saskatchewan organizations.
SaskTel’s Community Investment Program (CIP) is an initiative that supports non-profit and charitable organizations based in Saskatchewan, involved in activities that directly benefit a Saskatchewan community or the province.
The program provides financial support or support through promotional items to non-profit and charitable organizations in their fundraising efforts. While the CIP works to support our province’s youth, it also sponsors activities related to technology, rural community, promoting diversity, and environmental sustainability.
In the 2021/22 fiscal year, SaskTel contributed nearly $2.9 million to 548 non-profit and charitable organizations, community associations, venues, events, and partnerships in 144 communities throughout the province.
The CIP falls under the umbrella of SaskTel Cares, a campaign introduced in November 2020 that provides the company a cohesive approach to communicating our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Saskatchewan.
SaskTel Cares represents all SaskTel CSR activities in our province. This includes the work of SaskTel Pioneers, SaskTel TelCare, Phones For a Fresh Start and Be Kind Online initiatives, our commitment to building networks across the province as well as our environmental work and numerous sponsorships.
If your Saskatchewan-based charitable or non-profit organization meets the CIP qualifications, SaskTel encourages you to submit a sponsorship request through our online form found here: sasktel.com/sponsorships
